A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is a procedure designed to elevate and reposition the brows, while removing excess skin and lines from the forehead. This has an effect on the appearance of the upper eyelids and may be performed in combination with an eyelid rejuvenation procedure or a facelift.
Incisions are made along the hairline. Skin is smoothed and tightened with excess skin being removed. This accomplishes an elevation and correction of the brow position and removes the heaviness that may occur in the upper eyelids with sagging of the brow. The forehead is smoother and more contoured following a browlift.
